What the software STEEL-TEST?
STEEL-TEST is a software solution for the automatic analysis of reinforced steel bars, including relative rib area calculation according to EN ISO 15630 and major international standards.
What is the scanner SCANNY3D-STEEL?
The SCANNY3D-STEEL scanner is a high-definition 3D laser scanner designed for steel bars. It quickly generates a 3D model of the bar, with reliable and repeatable measurements, which integrates seamlessly with STEEL-TEST software, enabling automated quality control.
How does STEEL-TEST work?
STEEL-TEST automatically processes the 3D model of the reinforcing bar, detects the ribs, performs the required calculations, and generates the complete report & certificate.
Does STEEL-TEST only perform measurements of the relative rib area?
No. STEEL-TEST supports additional measurements and geometric checks such as ovality, symmetry, and many other parameters directly on the 3D model.
Does STEEL-TEST only support UNI EN ISO 15630?
No, STEEL-TEST does not support only the UNI EN ISO 15630 standard. It also supports the main international standards for the testing and characterization of reinforcing steel. These include, for example, EN 10080, BS 4449, NF A35-080, ISO 6935, DIN 488, and the Italian D.M. 17/01/2018, as well as other national and international standards.
Does STEEL-TEST support LIMS integration?
Yes. Test results can be exported in multiple formats or integrated with a LIMS database for seamless data management.
Can STEEL-TEST be adapted to specific requirements?
Yes. Additional features and calculations can be developed to meet specific customer and laboratory requirements.
Is STEEL-TEST difficult to use?
No. STEEL-TEST is designed to be simple and easy to use.
How much time does it take to get a report?
Once imported the 3D model, you can get the final report in just a few seconds.
Are the results provided by STEEL-TEST reliable?
Yes, the results are reliable. The software has been tested on thousands of real and theoretical cases. The results have also been verified and compared with those obtained using other tools and calculation methods. The tests showed repeatable and consistent results, confirming the reliability of the software under normal operating conditions.
